Jon Gunns

Lieutenant Colonel Jon Gunns has completed a full Army career, including operational deployment overseas and in appointments supporting civilian emergency responders. His penultimate appointment was within the Army’s Directorate of Training where he was responsible for the development of training strategy. Since 2009, he has run the Command and Staff Trainer (UK Operations) where he is responsible for the provision of command and staff training to prepare Formation HQs and Specialist Units for Defence support to UK operations. He is currently undertaking a distance learning MSc in Business Continuity, Security and Emergency Management and will retire from the Army in 2014.
