Jon Hall
Jon is the founder and MD of the Resilience Advisors Network (RAN), a group of international crisis experts who form highly specialised teams to undertake strategic reviews and projects aimed at strengthening community, locality and infrastructure resilience from disasters and emergencies. Operating through companies and offices around the world, the Network is particularly active in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
An early career in oil and gas operations and shipping were followed by more than 30 years in UK Emergency services including ten years as Chief Officer. For six years, Jon managed teams designing, creating and leading specialist national capabilities (CBRN, USAR etc) as well as leading local resilience arrangements supporting crisis-hit communities.
A qualified expert in the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM), Jon left operational Service in 2015 to become Director of Training at the UK’s Fire Service College leading to designing major commercial solutions for the fire and rescue sector and industry all leading to the establishment of RAN.
RAN currently has some 150 experts around the world and current work includes support to over 20 European research projects, support contracts to national governments and management of the Crisis Management Innovation Network Europe (CMINE).
