Held from October 1-2 in Malmö, Sweden, practitioners, peer supporters, researchers and professionals are welcome to participate in the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) conference. It is designed to inform participants how to prepare, train and deal with crisis interventions and management.
Speakers will present and discuss matters pertaining to lessons learned, case studies, cultural differences and co-operation, psycho-social support for NGOs and dealing with trauma post-incident; more topics and speakers are to be confirmed. The programme is extensive and is regularly updated here.
The event is to be held at Sankt Gertrud, Östergatan 7B, Malmö. Registration is open from now until June 30 via email. The fee is €275 and includes admission to the two-day conference, coffee and lunch on both days and a conference dinner.
